“Serum proteomic profiles of UK Biobank participants with Multiple Sclerosis.”

Benjamin M Jacobs, et al. – Queen Mary University of London.

Leveraging proteomic data recently released by UK Biobank, this study compared serum protein levels in 380 patients with MS and over 38,000 controls. While many changes observed in patients were not specific to MS, decreases in cystatin D were more prevalent in MS than in other neurological disorders.
